Human Menopausal Gonadotropin 0.15mg/vial (150 IU/vial)
1 Box of 1x Vial
HMG (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin) is a medication used in the treatment of infertility, in both males and females.
HMG contains two main hormones which are important in fertility, that is, follicle stimulating hormone and luteininizing hormone. Follicle stimulating hormone is responsible for initiating the development of eggs in the ovaries. Luteinizing hormone is responsible for ovulation in women and the production of testosterone in the leydig cells in men. HMG binds to the LH/FSH/HCG receptor to exert its effects in women who have low levels of FHS or LH.
To maintain fertility and testicular activity, HMG must be used during cycles lasting over 10 weeks. Ideally, it should be used beginning in the first week to prevent any growth of testicles. Typically, the prevention of testicular atrophy starts around 3-4 weeks after the steroid cycle. However, in any case, cycles lasting more than 10 weeks with a complete loss of testicular functionality, and it is required to start using HMG treatment must be initiated as soon as possible, and the dosage will be 75-150 IU 2-3 times per week.
For people with hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism, it is suggested that they consume 5-10 IU per day for multiple months.
For athletes that are looking to improve their performance, can take up to 10 IU per day. An additional option is to take an extra 5 IU doses 30 minutes before beginning your workout.
Lyophilized (Unmixed)
● Short term - Lyophilized peptides will remain stable at room temperature for 30-60 days. However, upon receipt all peptides should be stored in the refrigerator (under 4C (39F) for maximum stability and longevity. Peptides stored at this temperature can last 1-2 years.
● Long term - If you are not going to use the peptides withing 1-2 months it is preferable to store the peptides in a freezer at -18C (0F). Peptides stored at this temperature can last 2-3 years. Even more preferable for long term storage is freezing at -80C (-112F) in order to preserve the peptides stability long term.
Reconstituted (Mixed)
● Short term - Peptide solutions generally remain stable up to 30 days when stored in the refrigerator at 4C (39F) depending on the length of the peptide sequence and its inherent instability factors.
● Long term - If peptides absolutely must be stored in solution, sterile buffers at pH 5-6 should be used if possible, and the peptide solution should be separated into aliquots to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Freezing at -80C (-112F) is optimal in order to preserve the peptides stability.
